Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

We made it through our first Thanksgiving with the girls.  Ava started my day bright and early (4:53 to be exact) and Mia quickly followed.  I managed to get them both to lay down in our room, but I wasn't able to fall back asleep.  Anyway, we played for awhile before snuggling on the couch to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Mate has never been a fan of parades, but promised he'd take part in this annual tradition now that we have children. 

We were out the door by noon, quickly stopped to see my parents and then continued on to spend the day with Mate's family.  We had a great time visiting, the food was delicious and I didn't over-eat. . . yay!  The girls completely missed their afternoon nap, but we managed to keep them happy and entertained most of the day.  Unfortunately, that kept us so busy we didn't take many pictures.  There's always next year. . .
