So Much to Experience

Mia looking at the snow
Ava's turn
The girls and I woke up to a light dusting of snow.  I love living in a place with all four seasons, so you won't find me complaining about the first snowfall.  Growing up, my family had a great time skiing and snowmobiling all winter long.  Mate didn't spend his childhood doing those things and wasn't particularly successful when my parents took him snowboarding for the first time.  As a result, we probably won't be hitting the slopes much as a family.  However, I am determined to give Mia and Ava the opportunity at least a few times.
I've been meaning to start a list of all the things I want to do with the girls for awhile.  I figure a good place to start is by thinking back on my own childhood.  I am so thankful for parents who gave my sisters and me amazing experiences:
Camping, Horseback Riding, Boating
Sledding, Snowmobiling, Skiing
Bowling, Ice Skating, Roller Skating
Amusement Parks, Festivals, Fairs
Circus, Musicals, Parades
Cooking Classes, Ballet, Gynmastics
Travel: East Coast, West Coast, North, Mid-Atlantic, South, Europe, Central America
One of my favorite memories: Dinner out on a Friday night turned into a spontaneous weekend in Niagara Falls.  We stopped to buy clothes and toiletries on the way.
I hope my children will have these experiences and many more.
