Mondays

I love Mondays.  They're probably the most dreaded day of the week for the majority of people, but I look forward to them.  After whatever craziness the weekend brings, the girls and I can get back to our normal, daily routine.  Of course, I would rather have Mate home with us than at work, but Saturdays and Sundays are almost always busy, busy, busy.  When he is spending time with Mia and Ava, I am usually doing housework, making baby food, cooking, running errands, etc.  In between all of that, we are most likely attending some sort of family function, as well.  Luckily, Mate makes it possible for me to almost always take a nap.

Here are the reasons Monday makes me happy:
1. I get the girls all to myself
2. We can stay in our pajamas
3. I don't have to answer any questions
4. There usually isn't much to get done around the house
5. The girls get back on their schedule
6. I get to make all the decisions
7. We don't have to go anywhere
8. We have the whole week ahead of us
9. Matt Lauer and the Today Show (Mate is fully aware of this)
10. I get the girls all to myself (this gets two spots because it really is the best part)
