Don't get me wrong, I would never give up staying at home with the girls, but it's hard not to miss being a teacher. Here are some of the things I miss most:
Getting my class list
New school supplies
Arranging and decorating the classroom
My co-workers
Celebrating holidays
Scholastic Book Club
Read alouds
The funny things 2nd graders say
All the hugs
Seeing the successes

As much as teaching is stressful some times I know I would miss it a lot if I did not do it anymore. Esp my second graders....love them!
