Peeps are not Playdough

The girls were gifted quite a few packages of Peeps during Easter.  We let them eat a couple over the course of the last month, but most of the packages were just taking up space in our pantry.  I saw instructions for turning Peeps into edible playdough and thought it would be a fun activity to try with the girls.  We're going to go ahead and call this a Pinterest Flop. It was fun, but definitely not edible. The amount of cornstarch required to counter the ridiculous level of stickiness ruined any intended yumminess.  Also, the "playdough" became tough quickly, which made it difficult to mold into anything.  Clearly, the girls had a good time, but it would have been a lot easier to just give them a container of playdough and a peep.  They'd eventually figure out which one was intended for consumption and I'd have a lot less mess to clean up.
