Although my baby rocking days are almost over, I decided I really wanted a rocking chair for Mother's Day, this year. Mia and Ava never needed to be rocked to sleep, so I am glad we didn't spend money on one of those fancy glider/ottoman contraptions. However, as Eliana grows in size, rocking her in my arms is getting more difficult and some sort of chair would be helpful. Also, I've realized I don't want this part of my motherhood journey to end without actually rocking a baby to sleep in a rocking chair. Thankfully, I woke up to this on Sunday:
We spent most of the morning relaxing and putting my new rocking chair to good use. In the afternoon, Mate stayed home while Eliana napped and the older girls and I went to see their first movie at a theater. I think they were interested in just about everything except the actual movie. They lasted for about 45 minutes before calling it quits, which I was fine with. We won't be trying that again anytime soon, but it was enjoyable, nonetheless.

Some take-out for dinner rounded out my fourth Mother's Day. As always, I'm thankful, thankful, thankful for the three ladies that gave me my favorite title.
