When you graduate high school with 800+ other people, it's almost a given that at least someone is going to go on to do something pretty spectacular. Thanks to social media, I've been able to see former classmates get in to grad school at Harvard, find great success in the world of professional poker, start innovative businesses and change the world for the better in a multitude of ways. So, it didn't come as a big shock when this popped up in my news feed from a high school friend:
I love to craft, but going to Hobby Lobby or Michael's with three small children isn't exactly my idea of a good time. How amazing is it that all the supplies for a Pinterest worthy creation could potentially be delivered right to my door? It must be pretty amazing because Startbox took second place at the Toledo Start Up Weekend 2013. Clearly, I'm not the only one impressed by the idea.
I am in no way, shape, or form benefiting from blogging about this; I just think this idea needs to be shared. If you are as inspired by it as I was, here is where you can donate as little as $1 to help make this idea a reality: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1200225867/startbox
I have all my fingers and toes crossed that I will be able to place an order for Startbox in the near future!
