Sick and Tired

As if spending the entire second half of December battling coughs, colds and stomach bugs wasn't enough, today we found out that Eliana has pneumonia.  Her temperature spiked yesterday and she definitely wasn't acting like herself, so we decided to make an appointment with the pediatrician.  We thought she might have a bad cold or maybe an ear infection, but weren't expecting pneumonia.  Thankfully, the doctor said it's nothing to worry about and we can treat her at home with some antibiotics.  There's never a good time to get sick, but trying to celebrate the holidays while no one is feeling well has certainly not been fun!

Yesterday, Eliana crawled over to my lap, laid her down and fell asleep

 We're all a bit sick and tired of being sick and tired around here!
