Party Weekend

Good News: We had two really great parties to attend this weekend.  

Bad News: They were almost at the exact same time.  

Our first stop was at our best friends' house to celebrate their daughter's 1st birthday.  We love, love, love Miss Olivia and thought her picnic themed party couldn't have been cuter.  Unfortunately, we had to leave just as she was digging in to her smash cake, but we're glad we got to share in her special day for at least a little while.

We made a mad dash to the other party which was hosted by Mate's boss.  This is an annual event to celebrate the graduating pharmacy residents and welcome in the new batch.  Luckily for us, there are always a bunch of kids and lots of toys to keep our girls entertained.  I really enjoy chatting with Mate's co-workers and watching him interact with his residents.

Mate and George are about to move into a new office together and were gifted a Pharmacy Man Cave sign.  It is a humorous list of rules including:

Discussions of feelings or Pinterest prohibited

Women will not outnumber men at anytime

No crying

Of course, it wouldn't have been a day in our lives without a few meltdowns or minor disasters, but we'll just focus on the fun this time.
