While Daddy's Away...

Mia, Ava and I were on our own for the past three days.  While we definitely enjoyed our girl time, it's good to have everyone back under one roof.  We filled our time playing at the Little Gym, visiting grandma and grandpa, exploring new textures, and reading stories.

Everything was going really well until an hour before my time as a single parent was about to come to an end.  I was holding Mia, making an important phone call and cooking dinner at the same time.  I forgot I had already opened the box of spaghetti and this was the result. 

I wouldn't want to be on my own with them all of the time, but with the right amount of planning and patience, it wasn't so bad.
