Sometimes, I really miss Toledo. I miss my friends. I miss being
within walking distance of Fresh Market, campus, the coffee shop. I
miss eating at Kotobuki and Phoenicia. I miss being a graduate
student. I miss our house. I don't think we'll ever love a house as
much as our first one. |

We like our house, but we loved that house. Now that Mate has been at his job for almost 2 years, we are pretty confident we'll be staying in this city. With that in mind, we've already started discussing our next move. It isn't in the immediate future, but we plan ahead. Ideally, we'd build our next house, but if we want to stay in our current location, that may not be possible. We want to live in a neighborhood, but not one with houses that all look alike. We want trees in our backyard. We want to be close to major highways. We will be picky. We've spent some time driving around and have found a few houses that we really like. If they happen to come on the market, we'd move sooner than planned. If land becomes available, the home we've been planning in our minds for years might become a reality. It shouldn't come as a surprise that we've had a picture/floor plan from a magazine saved since we were in high school. Maybe one day...
Ahh, I loved the Secor house, too!
