April 29th

Yesterday, we received a much anticipated email from our builder containing the expected completion date of our house. Our excitement dissipated when we scrolled to the bottom and saw April 29th.  We've passed the five full months we were initially told it would take, so every week after seems longer than the last.  By April 29th, it will have been 7 full months since we broke ground and 10 months since we moved out of our previous home.  While we're anxious to get this show on the road, we're incredibly thankful for the generosity of our families throughout this journey.  We've taken over an entire house, hijacked half my in-laws garage and taken full advantage of having grandparents around every corner.  Just as our journey to parenthood veered from our plans, so has this. Both turned out better than we could have imagined.  Plans have nothing on fate.
