On Turning 30

I want to start by saying that I understand turning 30-years-old can bring with it a plethora of feelings, some of which may be anxiety provoking.  I, however, welcomed this milestone with open arms for a couple of reasons.  First, I choose to be thankful for each added candle on my birthday cake because it means I have been gifted with another year to love, laugh, learn and grow.  Second, Mate and I are looking forward to settling in to a bit of a groove during our 30s.  The last decade has been filled with so much: college, careers, marriage, home buying, moving and a growing family.  We know our lives will stay busy and we'll be thrown curve balls, but this 10 year plan is boring compared to the last (and we couldn't be happier about that).  Now, here's a little look at how we celebrated:

Some lobby fun while I checked-in.
 Meeting their favorite character, Pluto.
 Totally acceptable on vacation.
Our girls got pulled out of line for Disney Junior Live to open the clubhouse.  They had to knock on a giant door and yell the magic words, "Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse!"  It was quite exciting.
Of all the rides at the Magic Kingdom, nothing gets us smiles like this one.
See what I mean.

We are always thankful for a little break on the People Mover
We loved my birthday dinner at Be Our Guest
I was truly surprised when I opened a present and found my entire blog made into a book.

I couldn't have asked for a better beginning to my 30s.
