If you've been around for awhile, you may recall a few posts about my laundry room being a dumping ground for all types of things. Well, around Thanksgiving, the shelves came crashing down on our washer and dryer, creating an even bigger mess. We've been talking about replacing the metal shelves with cabinetry for months, but never found the time. To be honest, I really wasn't convinced that Mate was going to be able to complete a project like this on his own, either. A trip to Ikea on Saturday and six hours of work on Sunday proved me wrong. He was quite the handyman this weekend:
