Ava's Godmother

The girls and I met up with Mary, Ava's Godmother, on Saturday.  We spent a couple of hours at the mall and had the best time catching up.  She grew up with Mate and his sister and is an important part of our family.  We all went to The University of Toledo together, which is where she and I formed our friendship.  Mary is the kind of friend that will tell you the honest truth.  She doesn't hold back and I appreciate that.  She is brave, outgoing, and has the most contagious laugh. My philosophy is that everyone needs a little Mary in their life.  She was with me when I made my final wedding dress decision, when I got married, when the girls were born and for so many of the little moments in-between.  I am thankful for all that we have shared and know Ava will grow up being thankful Mary is her Godmother.
