We spent time at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and enjoyed the new exhibit. I sent Mate a message about half way through our day letting him know how much we missed him. These girls and all their questions really make you appreciate your science-loving better half. I'm pretty sure I said, "we'll have to ask Daddy" 7,673 times that day.
Thankfully, he got to join in on the fun and watch a movie with us. The girls LOVED Jumanji and we thought it was pretty entertaining, as well. They watched it twice in less than 24 hours and were so bummed when it had to be returned.
We made a trip to Toys R Us for one last shopping experience. While they're disappointed the stores are closing, getting to buy a toy seemed to make things just a little bit better.
We made a giant mess. I mean, we made spring-inspired rice krisipi treats.
They made slime for the first time and added just enough glitter to make every corner of our house sparkle.
We used up a few of their Pizza Hut Book-It rewards and I showed them how to make paper fortune tellers while we waited. They thought I was super cool for about 32 seconds that day.
In the middle of their break, my grandma got sick and needed someone to stay with her. The girls and I left Mate at home for a night and took over my grandma's house. My children ended up in this big comfy bed and I slept on the fold-out couch . . .
Good thing I caught them cleaning up on their own multiple times during the week!
We even found excitement during boring tasks like grocery shopping. When donating to harvest for hunger, you're given a plastic Easter egg filled with candy and/or a gift card. They were winners!
As Easter approached, we colored eggs and headed to Columbus for an early celebration
The girls look forward to this little trip every year.
On Easter morning, there was quite a bit of excitement over baskets (apparently Eliana screeching with excitement was a little much for the other two to handle).
They searched for eggs in our basement
Ava couldn't wait to add the coins she received to her piggy bank
Mia seemed to enjoy her treats, too.
Love sharing all of these celebrations with this guy (it only took our children 432 tries to get a picture of us).
We couldn't get them to open their eyes for a picture, which I guess is what happens when the sun decides to show up after a 6 month vacation.
They had such a great time playing at my sister's house
and spending time with their cousins.
We did, too!
Their last day of break was spent at home in pajamas. They pretended to be paleontologists and insisted on protective eyewear. It's never boring around here.

Wonderful,Love to all.
