This month started off with Eliana's birthday and we've been busy ever since! My March calendar may just end up making February look boring, which seems crazy after looking back at all the fun we had:
We were so excited to join some preschool friends at the new Children's Museum.
Since we didn't have friend birthday parties this year for any of the girls, I may or may not have told Eliana that everyone was there to celebrate her birthday. She totally believed me ; )
We also spent a morning at Playground World with our SECPTA friends. I'm really going to miss these moments next year.
The morning of my birthday was spent enjoying breakfast with Mate and the girls. We had an assortment of fancy breads, French yogurt and fruit . . . so delicious!
In the afternoon, I spent a bit of time with friends at a cupcake decorating class.
After a lovely dinner out with our little family, I decided to share my cupcakes. It was the perfect end to my 33rd birthday.
A few days later, it was Valentine's Day. We started the morning with pink pancakes, of course.
Why can't every day require clothing adorned with hearts?
All the girls enjoyed preparing Valentines, but Mia took it to a whole new level by writing a poem for each of her classmates. It was a lengthy process, but her commitment to personalizing each one was impressive.
Later that evening, we sent the girls on a scavenger hunt around the house that led to a few sweet treats. If anyone is wondering, I did receive my big ol' box of Godiva chocolates from Mate (oh, how I look forward to that gift every year). I bought him a space heater for his office . . . predictable and boring is how we roll.
The very next day we celebrated 7 years since Mia and Ava came home from the hospital. We love recalling memories from our 52 day stay at Rainbow Babies and Children's.
There was also a whole bunch of time spent watching the Olympics. I hope you enjoy this photo, as I had trouble choosing which one to include of the 217 that Ava took of that team alone.
With the end of the Olympics came some spring-like temperatures. We made sure to enjoy some time outside.
The fun continued with Eliana's very first dance competition. She was full of excitement and nerves before heading on stage.
We sure do love this little duet team.
Eliana's goal for the next competition is to smile for at least a little bit of the performance.
So, they won 1st place and a giant trophy. Full disclosure: there wasn't any one else in their category. We're definitely looking forward to the next competition in April. Until then, we've got March to conquer.

Love you all.
