Countdown to Christmas

We've spent the last month doing our best to fit in as much Christmas fun as possible.  With the exception of one event, we successfully crossed off everything on our holiday list.  The pictures uploaded in the opposite order I had intended, but one of my children just got a candy cane stuck in her hair, so there's no time for photo rearrangement.  Here's a look at what we've been up to from end to beginning:

 The girls and I always watch Eloise at Christmastime- we're really looking forward to visiting The Plaza Hotel next year!

 We enjoyed time with family 

 Went on a Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt

 Partied at school

 Decorated Gingerbread Houses in our pajamas with Twins Club friends

 

 Caroled with the Girl Scout Troop

 Baked Gingerbread Cookies 

 Checked out the trees at Allen Theatre

 Eliana had a great time bowling with her dance team

 We took a trip on the Polar Express

 Played in the snow

 Danced with real ballerinas at the Nutcracker Storytime & Tea

Had all kinds of fun at Mr. Kringle's Inventionasium

and love, love, love this Santa

 We checked out the decorations at Stan Hywet Hall

 and stopped for a family photo

We kicked things off by decorating our tree and made sure to photograph the child who got to put the star on top so we have proof next year that it is not, in fact, her turn again.
