Mia and Ava recently started their first session of indoor soccer, which I'm going to guess may also be their last. I'm not surprised, given that navigating the sporting goods store proved rather tricky for us Soric ladies. We managed to acquire the correct apparel without asking for help, but it was touch and go there for a minute.
They loved the first week, which included a practice and scrimmage of sorts. However, the actual games are proving to be a bit more challenging. We'll see if any untapped soccer skills emerge in the coming weeks...
In other news, Ava is temporarily sporting some reading glasses due to an eye-drop prescription that causes blurred vision. She's pretty excited about this new accessory and we're happy she can see her schoolwork, again.
Mia finally lost her first tooth and couldn't be more excited. Eliana, on the other hand, burst into tears because she's the only one who hasn't lost a tooth, yet. We can't make everyone happy, I suppose.
We spent some time with family over the weekend and I sure do love this picture of our nephew surrounded by the girls. I'm not sure he found their "face-making" all that entertaining, though.
Now, I'm off to enjoy this Snow Day with the girls . . . crossing all my fingers and toes that I can convince them it's too cold and windy to play outside. Wish me luck!
LOVE.
