1. She gives the best hugs, especially before bed when she says, "a squeeze and a smooch and a kiss and a hug". She'll also be sure to let you know if you forget to give her one of those signs of affection.
2. Eliana is as girly as they come. Our once gender-neutral playroom is being taken over one Cinderella doll at a time.
3. She's talkative, opinionated and as sweet as can be (when she's not being a threenager).
We had a great time celebrating her:
Good Morning, Birthday Girl!
She opened her big present before Mate headed off to work.
Whipped cream and sprinkles on her pancakes.
Her birthday request was to play at the Eagle's Nest now that she's met the minimum age requirement. You better believe we were there just minutes after they opened.
This is me, wandering the grocery store all by myself while the girls played. All. BY. MYSELF. . . woohoo!!!!
Next, we grabbed a quick lunch . . . these girls love looking down over the grocery store as they eat.
Our next stop was a Princess Party at Cuts 'N Curls with SECPTA friends. This was a perfect afternoon for Eliana . . . curls, nails and dress-up.
She waited patiently all day for her Daddy to come home so the birthday fun could continue.
After her favorite dinner (spaghetti), her sisters gave her the presents they picked out.
Clearly, they chose well.
Cake served on Cinderella plates rounded out the celebration.
We ended our day reading the book about Eliana's entrance into the world. I'm so glad it arrived in time, because she loved it.
