Family Photo Fun

At the beginning of this year, I won a family photo session from an area photographer.  We decided to wait a few months so we could take pictures on our new lot.  Unfortunately, after many failed attempts to coordinate with the photographer, I gave up.  Instead of professional photos where our house will soon be, we settled on pictures with an iPhone in the backyard.  Here's how well that went:
As soon as we got outside, the girls started whining about being cold...this was about as good as it got out there.

We moved inside, but there was still little cooperation and less than picturesque scenery

I suggested posing on the covered porch, hoping it would block some of the wind that sent my girls into meltdown mode, earlier.  Clearly, we were just as unhappy out there.

After taking a few calming breaths, throwing some leggings on the girls for added warmth and grabbing a blanket so we could have a "picnic" outside, we had some resemblance of cooperation.  We'll take it.

A big thank you to my little sister for capturing all these moments for us.
