Columbus Adventure

This past weekend, Mate's parents treated us to a weekend in Columbus. We were definitely in need of a bit of time away with the Sorics.  Some highlights from the weekend include: lunch at North Market, watching my sister-in-law try on wedding dresses, strolling through Easton, relaxing by the pool and plenty of quality time with family.  Our little ladies were a bit rambunctious, which we're attributing to the joy they just can't seem to contain when they're around their Baba and Dida (that's a good problem to have, if you ask me).  Anyway, by the time we got back home, Mate was so in need of a parenting break that he offered to run to the store to pick up something I forgot.  When that store didn't have what he was looking for, he went to two more.  In our house, nothing screams dad needs some time away more than a voluntary shopping trip. Regardless, we sure are thankful for an exhausting weekend full of love and laughter.
