Since there are quite a few posts on here about meltdowns, tantrums and parenting missteps, this one is just about the yummy stuff:
The other morning, I found Ava pretending to tuck her letters into bed. It may be the best thing I've ever seen her do while playing. Plus, I finally have proof that the girls really do love letters.
Building towers out of books and acting like it's the most fun they've ever had in their entire lives.
Watching them help their great-grandma.
Playing together and using our couch as their personal playground.
Taking them to new places where they can explore and learn
Watching her navigate the world of self-feeding
Taking the older girls out and about one at a time. Tonight, Ava joined me at the grocery store and I've never had more fun completing that weekly errand. We talked and hugged and splurged on organic chocolate milk in a juice box container. She was all mine and I was all hers.
