Five Friday Favorites

1. Yes. Recently, Ava has started answering questions with a very definitive "yes".  Where most of us would say, yep or yah, she says yes and we love how cute she sounds!

2. Sounds like a . . . Mia has gotten into the habit of incorrectly identifying an object and, when corrected, saying "it looks like a . . ." For example, she noticed Ava's zebra shirt and said, "unicorn".  We said, "that's a zebra". To which she responded, "looks like a unicorn".  I'm sure this is one of those things that you have to witness to fully appreciate, but trust me when I say it's pretty entertaining.

3. Eliana has a new seat at our dining room table and we love, love, love having the entire family sitting together.

4. After a pretty lengthy hiatus, the girls have started crawling into bed with each other again.  Mia is sleeping comfortably with the pillow at the head of the bed, while Ava is hanging off the end. This is Ava's bed, mind you.

5. Mate and I decided to start setting aside a certain amount of time after the girls go to bed where there is no tv, computer, iPad, or phone usage.  I think we both forgot how nice it is to talk without distractions.
