Holiday Boxes

Each year, our collection of holiday decor seems to grow.  We've been using diaper boxes to store everything on shelves in our basement.  While that's been working just fine, opening the closet to an array of diaper boxes isn't as aesthetically pleasing as I'd like.  I've seen quite a few tutorials for covering boxes with fabric, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.  Let me just start by saying that I found it much easier to wrap the boxes like a present instead of following the directions I found here.  With that being said, here is my step-by-step:
I chose this fabric for our Easter box, laid it flat and positioned the box in the middle
The next step was to cut a 45 degree angle at each corner and then fold the fabric over
I trimmed the sides and ironed down each edge.
I used hot glue to adhere the fabric and then filled our Easter box

I used red heart fabric for Valentine's Day, green polka dots for St. Patrick's Day and flag fabric for the 4th of July.  I completed these boxes in minutes with the wrapping paper method.  There was no measuring, cutting or ironing involved :)

Now, I need to go to the store and get fabric for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!
