As some of you may remember, Mate and I celebrate the girls' birthday twice each year. You can read all about our reasoning
here. While we thought our little plan worked quite well last year, there was a little hiccup this time; baby #3 is due within a week of when we planned to have Mia and Ava's party. I thought I found another suitable option that would move the party up a few weeks (celebrate on the date the girls left the NICU, instead of when they were actually released from the hospital). However, we thought there was still a decent chance of baby crashing the party, which we really wanted to avoid. So, with only a couple of weeks to plan, we threw together a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed party. While it wasn't quite as big of a celebration as last year, we think it was a success:

Yes, we need a table this long just for immediate family and Godparents

I will NEVER make something out of a million little pieces of tissue paper again. . . totally underestimated how long that would take.

Mickey Mouse shaped cookies. Not my best Pinterest attempt, but that's okay.

A big thank-you to our guests for making the day so special and to Mate for all his heavy-lifting and a couple of great last-minute ideas. He better be careful or this lady may not be the designated party planner for long. . .
