Mate and I have learned over the years that there are certain situations
in life that are naturally stressful (moving, for example). During
those times, we agree that it's okay if we temporarily don't like each other.
Whatever annoying/aggravating things we do during the stressful period are immediately forgiven. We're taking this
approach for our first flight with Mia and Ava. The plan is for me to
handle the stroller and the girls. He's in charge of the car seats and
luggage. Whatever happens between the time we leave our house and the
time we arrive at the hotel happens. Of course, the goal is to be
pleasant the entire time, but we've learned that isn't always possible. Once we get situated, we become fully
accountable for our actions once again. It may not work for everyone, but we fully endorse this practice.
Activities: color wonder markers, crayons, magna doodle, play dough, ipad, books, movies, tag learning system
Snacks: Grapes, Pretzels, Graham Crackers, Granola Bars, Cheerios, Veggie Straws
Necessities: lots of wet wipes and diapers, boogie wipes, and extra clothes
Mickey (or "ke-ke" in Ava's words) here we come!!!!
