4th of July

Since Mate had to work on the 4th of July, I spent the whole day with my family.  Our morning started with a visit from my grandma (dad's side) and then continued with the rest of my immediate family.  For the second year in a row, we decided not to go see fireworks.  The girls were too little last year and we were too tired this year.  Our desire to put the girls to bed at 7:30 was far greater than our desire to chase them around until well after 9:00 p.m.  We were more than satisfied with our decision, especially when it started to storm just about the time the fireworks were set to begin.  Maybe next year...
