We kicked things off with a trip to the Geauga County Fair. I must say the unseasonably cool temperatures were appreciated.
Next, we celebrated the wedding of Ava's Godmother. It was a Big Fat Croatian Wedding Weekend and we loved every moment !!!
The girls loved dancing on the stage during the reception.
Between big events, Eliana started back to dance classes. Her passion for ballet makes me happy.
Halfway through the month, we were off for another wedding weekend. This time we got to take a little trip to Columbus to celebrate our dear friends, David and Erin.
We love weddings!
The photo booth props kept these ladies entertained all night.
The next morning, we headed to Easton for some family fun and special treats.
Strolling to breakfast
Brunch at Northstar is a family favorite
Pit-stop at the Lego Store before surprising the girls with a visit to . . .
. . . American Girl.
In the afternoon, we met up with my sister-in-law and took the girls to see our brother-in-law play a show. Family, delicious popcorn and a great performance . . . could this day get any better?
I'd say ending it with a trip to IKEA and cinnamon rolls was pretty perfect.
The end of this month has been filled with school events, extracurricular activities . . .
. . . and a whole bunch of PTA-ing
In between all of that, we managed to take a trip to Patterson's for some Fall Fun
and to our local Nature Center for some hiking and playtime.
and to our local Nature Center for some hiking and playtime.
Oh, did I mention, we also spontaneously decided it was a good time to expand the playroom and finish our basement.
The craziness this has added to our month will be worth it . . .
. . . although, I could do without all the dusty footprints we're tracking through the house.
