Age is Just a Number

With the exception of a post or two during my first year of blogging, I've avoided writing lists of things for which I'm thankful. There's certainly nothing wrong with using the month of November to express gratitude, I've just decided that this is an area of my life where I try to let my actions speak louder than my words.  However, I've got to share just one little thing that deserves some outward gratitude:

I am thankful, thankful, thankful to have an 80-something-year-old grandmother who drives nearly an hour to watch Eliana every few weeks.  Each time she arrives, I am reminded of how lucky I am for her love, support and willingness to do anything for family.   Now, who wants to try to fill her shoes while she's in Florida for some of the winter???

Yes, we were basically wearing the same outfit last week.
