Disney Family Vacation

We've been lucky enough to take the girls to Disney a few times, but this trip was a first for my mother and father-in-law.  Quite a few of our pictures are on Mate's phone and he's still in Florida for work, but here's a bit of our very memorable vacation, anyway:

Waiting for our very early flight.
Waiting patiently. Once we landed in Orlando, we enjoyed some time at the pool and an evening at Disney Springs (all captured on Mate's phone).
Our first full day was spent at Animal Kingdom.  We had to dodge a few rain drops throughout the morning, but that didn't slow us down.
Mia and Ava LOVED the safari and checking off each animal they spotted.
The next day started early for Eliana and me, as we had breakfast reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table.
I must admit, it's pretty exciting to get into the Magic Kingdom before it opens.
We took a minute to take a few pictures without the crowds.
We knew she'd love every minute of this experience and her smiles did not disappoint.
 Meeting her favorite princess, Aurora.
Hugs from Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella and Jasmine were warmly received.
After breakfast, we met up with the rest of the family to enjoy a practically perfect day.

The girls are so lucky to have grandparents who love them to the moon and back.

We spent our last morning in Disney eating breakfast with Mary Poppins, Tigger, Pooh, The Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland.  I don't have any pictures of the characters, but I did get one of Mia enjoying strawberry soup, which lives up to all the hype . . . so delicious.
After breakfast, we traveled to Port Canaveral where we boarded the Disney Dream.
Dinner our first night on-board.
I don't have any of the pictures from day 2, but I do have some from day 3 at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.  Who doesn't love beach time in crystal clear water?
Not to mention, a dance party with Pluto and Mickey!
After a day at the beach, our ladies were ready for pirate night.
Our girls spent their final full day of vacation solving mysteries . . .
. . . repeatedly going down the water slide and spending plenty of time in the kids' club.
All of which, left them exhausted.
They had a bit of trouble making it through dinner the last night, so we took what we could get as far as pictures go.
Their joy made every minute of planning and every penny spent completely worth it.
Saying good-bye to our assistant server, Nova, before disembarking.

The excitement of all things Disney surely made for a memorable week, however, the best part was spending time with our family and the laughter we shared.
