Since it's their third year playing, Mia and Ava have a slightly better grasp of the game, but . . .
. . . balls still get hit backwards and all they really want to do out on the field is this:
It can be annoying for us parents to remind them over and over and over again to pay attention, but the pictures make it look just about as sweet as can be.
Meanwhile, on another field, Eliana displayed a bit of apprehension. Thankfully, I found her a little friend with sparkly shoes to stand by and all was well in the world.
Thank goodness for patient coaches!
Of course, snack is their favorite part
Just a few days later, we went from T-Ball players to ballerinas. All three girls had a blast dancing on stage.
Mia and Ava tapped to Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom and Eliana danced to Little Bo Peep. From her very first day of ballet class, we had a feeling this might be Eliana's thing. She proved us right up on that stage!
After the finale, Mia and Ava received awards for dancing at the studio for 3 years.
What made this whole experience even better was being able to share it with my best friend and her daughter.
We're still not sure which hobbies will stick for our girls, but it sure is fun watching them figure it out.
