1. I'll always be thankful Mate spent his teenager years working at a pizza place Not only does it guarantee delicious homemade pizza, but it means I get a night off from cooking.
2. These crazy kids had a great time "driving" around Home Depot while we scoped out composite decking: Operation Outdoor Living Space has begun.
3. Mia and Ava were so proud to introduce their Daddy to their classmates. First he talked about his job, then . . .. . . he rocked out on the guitar. By rocked out, I mean he sang a pretty great rendition of the "ABCs". Of all his performances I've watched over the years, I decided this one was my favorite.
4. Eliana and I skipped library story time for an art class with our SECPTA friends. Not only did we enjoy ourselves, but we also came home with an adorable piece of art (it'll still end up in the garbage, but it was adorable, none the less).
5. Today, we headed to our local Nature Center for lunch and a hike. For the first time, the girls chose the long path. I had no idea how that would turn out, but 1.1 miles later and we were still smiles:
Bonus: It's a windows down kind of a day. Not a bonus: yet another pair of grass/dirt-stained pants.
Photo taken safely while the car was in park.
