Holiday Recap

When it comes to posting about our holiday, I feel like one of those people who still has their Christmas tree up in February.  Ours may come down on the 26th, but I can't get myself to write about all the fun we had while it twinkled in the corner.  Anyway, we had a lovely Christmas Eve with my side of the family and a wonderful first Christmas in our new home with my in-laws.
As you can see in the photo below, dessert seemed much more exciting than dinner
After dinner and dessert, we opened gifts.
Eliana was quite excited to hand out the presents she picked out all by herself
As always, these two were so thoughtful in their choices.
And these three received some pretty awesome new toys.

My last picture with 4-year-olds.  Their 5th birthday, which was promptly posted about, was followed by a few days of down time.
We spent New Year's Eve morning at Cafe O'Play with our SECPTA friends.  The countdown and balloon drop were a hit.
Our evening was spent with great friends and plenty of fun

These ladies sure know how to party
We spent New Year's Day with family . . . lots of love to start 2016
The next day, we celebrated Christmas with my paternal grandmother.  I couldn't think of a better way to end the holiday season than with her humor, sweetness and country charm.
