If I don't write these down somewhere, we'll forget all the memories connected to them:
"I'm still more hungry" - Eliana (by far her favorite phrase)
"How many percent fat does this have?" -Ava (a unit on healthy foods at preschool + kiddos who like to read labels = unusual conversations about sodium and potassium and calories).
"Ava, have something with calcium so you don't break your bones" -Mia (such a caring sister).
"It was just an accident" - Eliana (she thinks she can get away with anything by saying that)
"When I'm a grown-up, I'm still going to live with you" -Ava (I always tell her she can stay forever, although she'll change her mind sooner than we'd like to admit).
"I'm done eating. Fried chicken will clog my arteries"- Mia (seriously, you are underweight...eat the chicken).
"Is this a funky tune?"- Mia. "No, it's classical" - Ava (for the record, it was neither).
"May I have this dance?" -Eliana (Mate's personal favorite).
"I'm a little bit famished" -Ava (we do feed our children).
"I haven't had an iPad turn this week"- Mia (that would be a lie, you played with the iPad ten minutes ago).
Tina, I have followed your blog since the beginning and am so in awe of your family. I am sad to hear of recent events and you guys are always in my prayers. This might sound weird, but I will always remember your dance at Hopkins to the Real McCoy song--I thought you were so cool! And you still are---love reading your writing :) Thanks for keeping parenting real!
