Over the past few days, I started writing multiple times. I wrote about a little day trip we took last weekend and how I'm living up to my high school superlative: Most Involved. I started another round of Friday Five and reminded myself that I haven't shared pictures of Mia's room. I managed a few sentences and then closed the computer or answered an email or looked to see what you're all up to on facebook or stared at certain tabs in my browser and practiced avoidance. I started and stopped a lot in the past few weeks, which is a bit uncomfortable for me. I'm pretty sure that's going to be my new normal, at least for a little while.
So, here are some of the moments I haven't taken the time to share:
We went on a date to the Pancake Flip-Off at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens
We enjoyed the very little amount of time we had to lounge around
There were field trips . . .
. . . and family adventures
There was my very late night out with these two lovely ladies
and evenings so beautiful we had movie night outside.
We're going to soak up as much family time as we can this week before Mate heads off to a conference in San Francisco.
