A Case of the Mondays

We woke up today with a serious case of the Mondays.  All of our summer activities have come to an end, but preschool and story time and ballet are still a week or two away.  Instead of a calendar full of fun, we've got the dentist, doctor and meetings penciled in. I contemplated the zoo or the playground or a picnic and then decided we didn't need any of that.  We were just going to spend the day at home:
These two can spend endless amounts of time crafting
This one went back and forth between playing with toys and requesting we sing "one-two, buckle my shoe" more times than I can count
We used up the half-empty bag of marshmallows that have been hanging out in our pantry for the better part of the summer.
We ended the day with a movie and popcorn and snuggles.

The girls and I really enjoy all of our adventures, but there's no need to panic when we've got nothing on the calendar.
