One Week

As long as there are no surprises, we'll be spending the first night in our new home one week from today.  That might look like pillows and blankets on the living room floor, but you won't hear us complaining.  I'm crossing all my fingers that the girls transition well.  Eliana will go from sleeping in a crib to a twin bed.  Mia and Ava will have separate bedrooms for the first time. Mate and I will have a bedroom on a different floor of the house.  There won't be a grandparent or aunt or cousin in the next room or around the corner.  That's a lot of change all at once. I wish we could just snap our fingers and be settled in- especially since we have no free weekends until the middle of June.  It's going to be interesting trying to manage the girls, our full calendar, unpacking and turning this house into a home . . . I see a lot of mommy confessions in my future.

Taking over the master bathroom already
