DIY Costume Shop

Mia and Ava's day-after-Christmas birthday is nothing short of a challenge, so you'd think I'd know better than to attempt a DIY project (thank you Pinterest) for their present.  Ultimately, it was worth the effort, but I seriously questioned my decision making skills about halfway through:

 $15 well spent at Goodwill

 It took way more time than expected to sand off the finish

 A not-so-perfect paint job

 Fabric for the back, a tension rod, hangers and baskets

 I used some left over fabric to embellish the doors (thanks to my little sister for that idea)

All ready for the birthday girls
