When I was working on turning part of the basement into a playroom, one of the projects I had planned was a felt board. I bought all the supplies, but never got around to making it happen. Over the weekend, I took some time to create this:
I'll never claim to have any artistic talent, so I tried to pick objects that I could easily create with a pair of scissors. I thought about giving my "people" faces and clothing, but that was just too complicated for this lady.
This is such an inexpensive project. The large piece of felt was only a few bucks and the small pieces come in sheets that are 4 for $1. Easy, cheap, mess-free and the girls like it. . .success!

| They love to be in the kitchen with me (you may have noticed if you've seen the pictures of our powdered sugar mess or carton of cracked eggs on facebook). This keeps them entertained while I cook. |

| It's fun to listen to them identify all the objects on the board. I think the balloon is their favorite. |

About a month ago, one of the moms in my twins club gifted me an entire bag of clothing from her girls. There were dresses that I thought would be perfect for Thanksgiving, however we don't dress our girls identically. I decided to see if I could turn one of the dresses into a skirt. I basically cut the dress in half, sewed a top hem almost all the way around, pushed a piece of elastic through the hem and stitched it closed. . . easy-breezy. Now we have coordinating, but not identical outfits:
You're awesome, Tine.
