More Than Half

Yesterday, we celebrated quite the milestone in our relationship.  Mate and I have officially spent more of our lives together than apart.  We've been an "us" for 16 years and 1 day, which seems hard to believe and completely believable all at the same time.  We marked the milestone with an evening out and lots of reminiscing about the last 16 years.  From doing homework for each other in high school to choosing a college together, from starting careers to buying a home, from saying "I do" to building a family.  I am so thankful for all that we have accomplished and all the struggles in-between.  There were unique challenges that came with beginning a relationship in adolescence and growing it into adulthood, but we wouldn't have it any other way.  Forever an us . . .
